MagniLink iTAB

Compact solution for iPad

MagniLink iTAB is developed for and connects directly to an Apple iPad via the USB-C connector. The tiltable stand for the iPad makes it ergonomic, and an extra USB-C port enables charging of the iPad while the system is in use. The MagniLink iTAB can be ordered with a document/distance camera with a crystal-clear image quality, but you can also choose an iTAB without a camera and instead connect a MagniLink video magnifier* (for example a MagniLink S) if you already have one. Together with an iPad (not included), this becomes a versatile visual aid!

The flexible format is perfect for those who want to be able to use their system in different places, at home, in the workplace, or at school. It is possible to split the image on the screen so that you simultaneously can read from a book or other printed text using the iPad's camera – and view the information on a whiteboard in the classroom with the iTab's distance camera. You can also split the image on the screen and use native iPad applications at the same time.

Software with limitless possibilities

The heart of the iTAB is our MagniLink Viewer software which is easily downloaded from the App Store. Once the software is downloaded and installed on your iPad, the device is ready to use with feature-rich options. MagniLink Viewer offers different display modes that promote increased speed, endurance, and relaxation during reading. You can access digital and printed documents. The OCR function is always included, giving users the opportunity to have printed and digital text read aloud to stave off exhaustion. The MagniLink Viewer supports iPad’s touch screen gestures, and short keys via a Bluetooth keyboard..
