AI is offered as an option for iPad users
AI is now offered as an optional feature for those using an iPad alongside our video magnifiers. This opens up a new dimension of possibilities. With AI, you can ask questions about a text, to help streamline tasks, and improve productivity. You can also ask AI to translate or summarize a text, read handwriting, describe objects and much more. Read more here.
 

How to access the AI features
iPad users can purchase an AI license as an optional add-on for MagniLink Viewer – our downloadable software available on the App Store. MagniLink Viewer is compatible with iPads connected to our video magnifiers, including MagniLink Mini, MagniLink S, MagniLink iTAB, and MagniLink AIR. Below we present these video magnifiers that, together with an iPad or computer, become fantastic vision aids.
 

MagniLink Mini
– compact video magnifier for iPad and PC!

MagniLink Mini:
 

  • Is our smallest and lightest video magnifier.
  • Is ideal for use in classrooms and workplaces where the user often moves the video magnifier between different locations.
  • Has a combined reading and distance camera with good image quality.
  • Easily connects via a USB cable to a Windows-based PC or an iPad, which then displays the image from the camera.
  • Has software included.

MagniLink S
– extremely flexible, works with almost any platform

  • Is extremely versatile and flexible. Choose to connect to an iPad (iPadOS), computer with Windows/macOS/ChromeOS or directly to a monitor. Makes it easy to work online and interact with classmates and teachers.
  • Is easy to use for reading up close and for distance viewing, for example to see teachers and whiteboards.
  • Is easy to fold and move and just as easy to set up again.

  • Has several smart accessories, including OCR/Text-to-Speech functionality and various docking stations that converts the system into a more stationary video magnifier when the need arises.

MagniLink iTAB – compact and ergonomic video magnifier solution for iPad

MagniLink iTAB:
 

  • Is a competent video magnifier that connects to an iPad via the USB C connector (the iPad is not included in the iTAB). 
  • Has an extra connector that enables charging of the iPad while the system is in use.
  • Has a tiltable stand for the iPad that provides ergonomic use.
  • Can be delivered with a reading/distance camera with fantastic image quality, but you can also choose an iTAB without a camera and instead connect a MagniLink video magnifier (for example a MagniLink S) if you already own one.
  • Has software for iPad included, can be downloaded from the App Store.

MagniLink AIR Go – mobile, wireless distance camera suitable for PC, Mac, Chromebook or iPad

MagniLink AIR Go:
 

  • Is a mobile and wireless distance camera that can easily be moved between different locations, ideal for visually impaired students who frequently change classrooms.
  • Can be connected to an iPad (iPadOS) or a computer with Windows/macOS/ChromeOS.
  • Place anywhere where it has a clear view. Connect via Wifi. The image is transmitted either wirelessly or via an Ethernet cable.
  • Has a built-in battery that provides approx. 5.5 hours of use without an external power source. The device can be used while charging.
  • Is a part of the MagniLink AIR concept – a whole family of different cameras and accessories that can be used individually or in combination.
