Ken is an assistive technology instructor for students who are low vision and blind at Minnesota State Academy for the Blind. Below Ken shares why he is a regular attendee to the LVI America webinars.
Well COVID-19 has struck in many ways. It appears mostly bad, but there are some good things as well. One of the changes that I really like is that there are more educational webinars than ever before.
I have always enjoyed attending training for technology of any kind, but mostly when it involves information on solutions for people who are low vision, blind, and deaf-blind. I remember several years ago attending a conference and going to one of the sessions that was being offered on software solutions for individuals with low vision, and Kimberly Cline was the presenter providing a wonderful and very educational presentation.
