By attending ATIA, Vickie will gain important knowledge about assistive technology products and the best way individuals can utilize these devices to increase their independence in order to seek and maintain employment. Vickie is looking forward to attending the ATIA Virtual Conference Monday, January 25th, and wrapping up Thursday, February 4th, 2021. This will be her first time attending ATIA, and she is looking forward to the events especially the live LVI America educational session – See Life’s Possibilities Clearly, on January 26th at 12:00 p.m. EST. ATIA Live Educational Sessions.
Vickie shared that she really enjoys attending the LVI America webinars because they have been consistently informative covering something different each time she attends. They also offer practical uses of the technology which assists her in working with her clients with low vision. Also, she likes that the presenter Charlie Collins uses the LVI technology daily to effectively perform his job. Vickie’s favorite LVI product is the MagniLink TAB because it is so portable, and the universal design allows for many uses for this incredible low-vision assistive technology.
